MASTERFIELD

Mário Rodrigues, Masterfield, nasceu no Porto. Aos 18 anos chegou às gira-discos e ficou no scratch e no ofício de DJ. Dois amigos puxaram-no para a electrónica, cedo no drum and bass. Em 2010 os três abriram o colectivo Mad Control: Smollik, Kazi e Masterfield. Entre 2010 e 2015 experimentaram e tocaram dentro e fora do Porto. Passaram por Original Pressure, Trap, Dusty, Downbeat, Fragz, Nuno Forte, Dogs United, e por nomes de fora como Camo & Krooked, S.P.Y, Metrik, Rockwell, Counterstrike e Donny. A Massive Braga chamou-os e fizeram caminho juntos.

Sobre MASTERFIELD

Born in Porto, Mário Rodrigues aka Masterfield, had his first contact with decks at 18 years old, and showed great interest and empathy for the art of Djing, turnbalism/scratch. With two long-time friends responsible for all his involvement in the electronic scene, from an early age, Mário dedicated himself to electronic music (Drum and Bass). In 2010, they decided on the commitment to create the collective “Mad Control” composed by Smollik, Kazi e Masterfield. From 2010 to 2015 they put into practice their entire experimental period and made known the versatility of their sets, through cabins inside and outside of Oporto. They performed with national names like Original Pressure, Trap, Dusty, downbeat, Fragz, Nuno Forte, Dogs United, and international artists like Camo&kroooked, S.P.Y, Metrik Rockwell, Counterstrike, Donny, among others. Due to the aura that always united them and for all the dedication to the project, they were invited to the Massive Braga promoter, in which they shared a lot of history.
