Ruralive was founded in 2021 by Risky Romy and Jack Deeper as an independent cross-border platform connecting the underground electronic music communities of Northern Portugal and Galicia. Moving through the axis of Porto, Caminha, and Vigo, Ruralive bridges historical club venues, independent record stores, and outdoor gatherings across northern territories.
Ruralive operates as a living archive. Every gathering is documented through direct audio and video broadcasts, immortalizing the raw synergy between selectors, sound systems, and dedicated club goers across both sides of the Miño river.

The underground is always in motion, always evolving. It’s risky, blunt, unfinished. It’s a constant search, the sound you don’t recognize. It’s the way you operate, the hunger for what has not been found.
We come from the western shore where ships once left into waters no chart had touched. That fever is still in us. A will, a dream, an intuition, with no clear destination. We sail between frequencies with no clear path. When the path is drawn, we already sailed away.
Jack Deeper and Risky Romy founded Ruralive as two coasts of one instinct: the fever of not-knowing. Since 2021, and until our last blink, we will be sailing, we will be searching, we will be here.
